H523 CTR was donated to the Provincial Society in December 2003. The current engine was unserviceable. A replacement Perkins Phaser engine was sourced and was fitted in March 2006. In June of the same year she successfully passed her Class 5 MOT. Work continued on the interior restoration and in July 2007 she was re-panelled and repainted back into her original People's Provincial livery and again became No. 3.
