The Provincial Society

It was a very exciting moment during the afternoon of Saturday 18 April 2009 when Guy Arab No 57 fired up and moved for the very first time under her own power after several years of silence! An enthusiastic working party witnessed this special event as the bus made its way out of the storage barn and completed several circuits of the adjacent farmyard with smiling drivers Tim Jepson and Bob Jackson taking turns at the wheel. Their hard work over many months has made this possible to achieve and means that the project is well on target, although there is plenty of work to be undertaken before she can be roadworthy and take people around Gosport and Fareham.
